Twin Willows is an extraordinary veterinary service. Dr. McElrath has a depth of knowledge and experience that is unsurpassed. I have had many animals over many years and have sought care from many vets. Generally, my animals have dreaded the experience of going to the vet. In Molly's case, they run to greet her and are relaxed and happy when she treats them. Even my Belgian Malinois, who must generally be muzzled for treatment, is relaxed and calm in Molly's presence. She never requires muzzling, even for shots.

Molly's dedication to one of my dogs in particular has been beyond all expectations. Romy was a feral dog with many issues, from ulcerated skin to bilateral hip dysplasia. After receiving several months of Chinese medicinal supplements, prescribed dietary changes, and, in particular, weekly acupuncture, Romy is mobile and happy, with perfect skin. I have dealt with these issues in former dogs and never had such dramatic results from any treatment protocol. I am forever grateful for Molly's dedication to proper diagnosis and treatment. It is pure joy to work with her, as ALL of my many animals would agree. We all thank you, Molly, for all you are and all you do!

I met Dr. Molly McElrath a few years ago at Laguna Veterinary Hospital in San Luis Obispo. She was working alongside Dr Hassan who had been giving my German Shepherd acupuncture treatments. The moment Dr. Molly and I met I felt a connection; not only did I but my German Shepherd Ollie took an instant liking to her as well. Throughout the last few years of his life, he had been dealing with a lot of arthritis and recovering from a torn ACL. I decided not to do surgery and had Dr Molly come to our house to give him his acupuncture treatments which was a blessing in itself.

When she would arrive, her kind and caring spirit would transfer through everything that she did.  I know animals can’t talk, but we knew she was making a difference in his life just by the result that we could clearly see in his movement. Her recommendations for Chinese herbs and certain foods that we added to his diet attributed to his full recovery from his ACL injury. Not only would the treatment make him feel better, but having her there would lift all of our spirits. Her knowledge is a huge factor in her practice, but her kind gentle way is also one of the reasons I would have her care for any of my animals.

Dr. McElrath has done a wonderful job of managing my mare’s back issues. She has responded so very well to her use of acupuncture and chiropractic treatments, as well as Chinese Herbal Remedies. I believe that the success of the treatment is due to her intuitive, empathetic approach to integrated therapy as well as her Veterinary training. In addition to my personal experiences, several of my students and equestrian friends have also experienced very positive results with their horses under Dr. McElrath’s healing hands.
